On Tuesday 12th April, Butterflies headed to South Devon College for a Construction Workshop. The children experienced many hands-on activities: painting, carpentry/wood-work, plumbing, plastering, building and even finding the best way to drop an egg from a height!
Music is Fun! We were totally inspired by our music visitor this week and all classes enjoyed trying out new instruments and putting their musical skills to the test by creating their own short pieces of music. We look forward to continuing this with the children and supporting our budding musicians here at Stoke Gabriel.
Marine Biologist Laboratory We were lucky enough to visit Plymouth’s Marine Laboratory and become marine biologists for a day. Congratulations to all the pupils, staff and helpers who did their bit for Sports Relief 2016. The children, along with staff and helpers, ran/walked/skipped a lap of the village and impressed many passers-by. We look forward to seeing you next year.
